We invite proposals from qualified researchers to conduct and submit a comprehensive research project focused on assessing the nutrition levels among Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Somalia. This case study will specifically cover the cities of Mogadishu, Bosaso, Baydhabo, and Kismaayo. The research aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the nutritional status of IDPs, identify key challenges, and propose actionable solutions to improve their health and well-being.

Research Focus Areas:

  1. Nutritional Assessment: Conduct thorough nutritional assessments of IDPs in Mogadishu, Bosaso, Baydhabo, and Kismaayo, including anthropometric measurements, dietary intake surveys, and micronutrient status evaluations.
  2. Challenges: Identify and analyse the primary challenges affecting nutrition levels among IDPs, such as food insecurity, access to clean water, health services, and socio-economic factors.
  3. Health Outcomes: Evaluate the impact of current nutrition levels on the health outcomes of IDPs, including prevalence of malnutrition, anaemia, and other diet-related conditions.
